February 8, 2002 1:00-4:00 Getting Mercury out of Schools and Communities Northampton Municipal Office Building 212 Main Street(behind City Hall) A workshop for municipal officials on how to identify, remove and manage mercury in our schools and communities Directions: Take first left onto Conz Street (across from gas station) Immediately after the first stoplight, go right into the South Street parking lot or left into the Round House parking lot. Note: These long-term parking lots require the purchase of a time ticket ($.15/hour). Look for the yellow boxes to purchase a ticket. Be sure to purchase enough time, because the parking police are very diligent and the fine is $10.00 every time they come around! Looking up from the parking lot, you will see a 3-story building with turrets (i.e., looking up Crafts Avenue, City Hall is on the left at the top of the hill). The Municipal Building is a 3-story brick building that shares a small parking lot with City Hall%85the Council Chambers are located on the 3rd floor, which is the same level as this parking lot.
